How do I know it’s safe giving my credit card details over the phone?

With the introduction of our ‘Order by Phone’ program this year, we feel that it’s important to continue to have that personalized service and quality that we’ve stood by since starting out in this business. Despite advancements in technology over the years, we still like to identify with our customer. Don’t worry, we still use e-mail.

How do I order from you ‘after hours’?

We make it extremely easy for you to get in touch with us. If you’re trying to reach us after normal business hours, please shoot us an email at sales@batterycity.com. We promise to get back to you within 24 hours, even on weekends.

What kinds of batteries do you stock?

We currently stock over 5,000 different types of batteries ranging from Alkaline, Camcorder, Cell Phone, Cordless, Digital, Flashlight, Laptop, Photo, Rechargeable, Sealed Led Acid, Two Way Radio and Watch.

What is your warranty program and/or refund policy?

If for any reason you received the wrong battery from us or the battery is defective, we will refund 100% of your purchase. Most of our batteries come with a factory warranty of 1-2 years. We will not refund your purchase if you changed or your mind or found a better deal elsewhere. Sorry, this has been our company policy for 16 years. You wouldn’t return groceries to the supermarket, would you?. Unfortunately, the same goes for batteries…

How do I know if I need a new battery or my unit is just dead?

If you’re in the neighborhood, shoot on over to one of our stores. We will test your battery free of charge and let you know if it’s the unit that’s not working or the battery. In most cases, it’s always the battery. You can find inexpensive battery testers at your local grocery or hardware store.

How long should I charge my battery for after purchasing it?

In most cases, you should charge your new battery for one full cycle. Say you purchased a new battery for your Blackberry Bold 9700, let it charge 7-10 hours or one full cycle before using your device.

How do I know it’s safe giving my credit card details over the phone?

We’re glad you asked this! Battery City is partnered with some of the leading privacy and security agencies such as, Authorize.net, TrustE, etc. We do not save of your data. As soon as your order is processed, your credit card details go directly into our Point-Of-Sale system where your order is authorized and processed. Our system is 100% cloud-based and is protected by leading servers that host some of the top-secured websites online.
